sioc:content	Ese es el apodo con el que se conoce a esta ciudad gracias a la Dirección de Arquitectura y Patrimonio y por supuesto, a la riqueza de su patrimonio y el cuidado aportado a su revalorización. La capital de Anjou es de estilo caballeresco, de ese que proclama el amor cortés del que tenemos noticias a través de los libros de caballería. Pero era 14 de julio cuando aterrizamos por allí, Día de las Fuerzas Armadas en Francia, y la ciudad Gala estaba ferme y desierta. Esto es: comercios y principales monumentos cerrados mientras las imágenes de Carla y Nicolás colgaban como cuadros de las pantallas de los aparatos de TV de los bares y cafeterías que hacían su agosto (en este caso su julio).\n\nY nosotros que veníamos ilusionadísimos con admirar lo que es la “joya” de la ciudad: su tapiz del apocalipsis del s.XVI que está recluido en el Castillo de la ciudad... Os pongo una foto rescatada en google. Así que nos tuvimos que conformar con pasear por sus murallas y asomarnos a la entrada de ésta, una de las fortalezas medievales, del s.XIII, mejor conservadas de Francia. \n Aunque dándote un paseo por la urbe, descubres a través de su arquitectura, la evolución que ha sufrido a través de su historia que comienza hacia el 4.000 a.C., fecha basada en los descubrimientos arqueológicos.\n\nYo de Angers me quedo con: el Castillo y su fortaleza de 17 torres; con la Catedral gótica de Saint-Maurice (siglos XI-XIII) con sus bóvedas abombadas con ojivas, y sus hermosas vidrieras de los siglos XII, XIII y XV; con la casa de St-Aubien del s.XII que es la más antigua que se conserva en la ciudad; la casa de Adán del s.XVI; la plaza donde se ubica el Museo de Bellas Artes, o sus vistas al río Maine desde el puente Verdun. Sus calles misteriosas son una intriga constante, a la espera de que un caballero de armadura te arrebate un suspiro por sorpresa. \n Pues con pasear sus calles, mirar los escaparates y visitar su catedral tuvimos que conformarnos. The Anjou's capital is of chivalrous style, of this that proclaims the courtly love of which we have news across the books of cavalry. But it was a July 14 when we landed there, "Day of the Armed Forces" in France, and the Gallic city was ferme and desert. This is: trades and principal monuments closed while the images of Carla and Nicolás were hanging as pictures of the screens of TV's devices of the bars and cafeterias that they were doing its August (in this case its July).\nAnd we that we were coming deceived in spite of admiring what is the "jewel" of the city: the tapestry of the apocalypse of the XVIth century that is imprisoned in the Castle of the city... I show you a photo rescued in google. So we had to agree to walk for its walls and to appear at the entry of this one, one of the medieval fortresses, of the XIIIth, the best preserved of France.\nThough giving you a walk along the city, you discover across its architecture, the evolution that has suffered across its history that begins towards 4.000 B.C., date based on the archaeological discoveries.\nI of Angers remain with: the Castle and its fortress with 17 towers; Saint-Maurice's Gothic Cathedral (centuries XI-XIII) with its vaults stunned with ogives, and beautiful windows of the XIIth, XIIIth and XVth century; St-Aubien's house of the XIIth the oldest in the city; Adam's house of the XVIth; the square where the Museum of Fine arts is located, or its views from the the bridge Verdun over the Maine river.
