Hola, buenos días, me llamo Steve.\n\nTodavía estoy esperando para trasladarme a España. ¡En mi pais, la venta de una casa no es fácil! Las casas son tan costosas que cada una se mueve muy cautelosomente antes de pasar tanto el dinero.\n\nPero ayer Sue y yo vendimos la mayor parte de nuestros muebles para poblar de nuestra aldea. No ganamos mucho dinero pero era una relevación para librarse de todas esas posesiones.\n\nViajamos mañana a España para solicitar el NIE y mientras que estamos allí veremos nuestra casa nueva en las cercanías de Alcossebre - So near, yet so far.\n\nIt is amazing what people will buy: Despite the heavy rain, villagers flocked to our house yesterday to buy our possessions. It is strangely liberating to empty yourself of goods you've been hoarding for so many years; it is as if it was a 'psychic burden' which, as it lifts, raises your spirits.\n\nAnd the things they bought! (the things we had bought in the first place!): a machine for delivering therapeutic electric shocks to patients, dating from 1910; books on mediaeval history, CDs of German operetta, pairs of curtains. It all sold, and people seemed happy with their bargains.\n\nSo we step closer to our dream to move to Spain; I can almost touch it, it is so close; all I need is the elusive NIE! \n\nBien, quizás mañana un funcionario tomará la compasión en nosotros y nos dará nuestra nueva identidad española.\n\n¡Hasta mañana!\n
