¡Hola, buenas dias!\n\nSer patiente con este blog hombre. Cada vez que escribio agregaré más español hasta que es español de 100%.\n\n...But let's not rush matters. Greetings from Oxford where the finches are darting through the bushes and I am discovering how much I have accumulated over the last twenty years.\n\nSue and I are moving to Alcossebre soon, and we want to condense our belongings into two cubic meters. That includes clothes, CDs and DVDs, pictures and ornaments. I plan to load up my car (which is on its last legs anyway) and drive from Oxford to the Costa del Azahar, fortified only by caffiene and adrenalin.\n\nBut first I have to get the NIE! It will be my first encounter with Spanish bureaucracy, but not the last. We want to settle in Spain, to integrate into the community, to exchange English lessons for Spanish lessons until the day I can shout 'me cago en la leche' with authority.\n\nI also want to find a job where I can speak Spanish all day, despite my currently poor level of language skills. Perhaps someone has a suggestion? paid work (or voluntary work, if it's a good cause) on the coast for a middle-aged Scot.\n\nAnyway, respeto a los lectores del El Pais\n\nHasta la proxima: SteveW\n
